Alright, I've never done this before. A lot of the other creators extend campaigns but I pride myself on knocking out these books, getting them delivered and into your hands. I think even with an extension, we can still hit the June target date for printing and shipping to you (hopefully I won't have to eat my words on that!).
But here's the deal. We're at about $21,500, and we have a couple character bios (which are gonna be awesome) as well as a fantasy map goal which we can get to if we can get this campaign to reach $25K. I want a fantasy map for myself cuz I love them when they're in worlds like this, so I know you all would like one for the book too. It just makes books like this that much more awesome.
I firmly believe we can get there, but we're gonna need a lot of sharing during this extended period as I am very sure I've already gotten to as many people in my circles as I can. If you know of any shows I can go on, influencers who might share the book -- please let me know. I would love to go on and I'm sure Jesse White would love to as well. Let's make DEUS VULT even greater!

We've blown through our $15,000 stretch goal - and I forgot to post an update! It's been a wild couple of weeks so far and the best is yet to come.
If you missed the announcement, we've gotten Bill Willingham, creator of FABLES for DC Comics to do our stretch goal pin up. He's putting on finishing touches now before scanning but here's what he's drawn:
Stunning art! I'm so excited to get this colored and add it to the book.
Once we hit $20,000, the stretch goals really start to escalate. We really want to give this bonus to colorist Matt Crotts cuz he did such an excellent job, but then every thousand dollars we are adding more to the book for lore with new art all the way up to $25K where we're gonna get a beautiful fantasy map made.
You've been the greatest supporters of all time -- but we're not done yet. Please share the campaign to social media these next few days and let people know so we can hit these fantastic stretch goals. There's still two weeks to go and we can definitely get there and beyond!

Of course it does! This has been so great and it's all because of you guys. I'm so glad you love this art and idea, and we're gonna deliver the best book we can to you. This has been the best launch of any book from one of our campaigns so far.
We're getting to the middle of the campaign, which means things naturally start to slow down as the mentions really come in when things are new -- which is where we could really use your help. Please share out on social media and let your friends know about this awesome book!
Campaigns thrive on word of mouth and we have awesome stretch goals coming up, really close to that $15,000 as we speak -- and you're gonna be thrilled with the mystery artist we have to do a pin up.

We're just a few hours past the first day of our campaign launch and it's really incredible how amazing this book has done so far.
Deus Vult has both been the most successful launch by dollars and by number of backers of any campaign I've had to date.
It's a testament to Jesse and Matt's art. People are buzzing about this because no one's seen talent like this come through comics since the 1970s.
We've blown through the first 2 stretch goals: - free PDFs of my superhero books Flying Sparks and The Cosmic Wrrior and chapter covers added in for the books to add to the page count (and more beautiful Jesse White work!).
We made it past the first big push, but this is where we really need your help to make DEUS VULT a tremendous success. Please keep sharing the book throughout the campaign so people continue to discover our amazing crusader comic.
